Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set appointments to identify prospective client’s financial resources and need
  • Offer expert insurance policy recommendations to generate sales
  • Provide prompt, friendly and accurate customer service
  • Develop ongoing networking relationships
  • Conduct investment research on fund companies and securities products
  • Meet with and follow-up with existing and prospective clients
  • Perform special projects as assigned    
  • Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program
  • Expand knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and joint work with fellow associates
  • Provide financial solutions for clients through fact gathering and needs analysis (ie: prepare financial recommendations based on a client’s risk tolerance, financial goals and time horizon)
  • Assist clients with tax preparation and planning
  • Advise on the appropriate risk management strategies and products

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be driven to fulfill customer’s needs
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must possess the ability to effectively relate to a customer
  • Must be a confident independent self-starter

Desired Qualifications and Skills

  • FINRA Series 6 or FINRA Series 7 license is a plus (MUST be obtained within (90) days
  • Life and Health Insurance License is a plus (MUST be obtained within (90) days)
  • Income tax preparation/planning certification
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each day
